Cancelling your subscription
Ending your cori Pro subscription — where you cancel, when it takes effect and what happens to your data.
Web only
You can cancel a cori Pro subscription at any time — no notice period and no minimum term. This guide shows you where to cancel, when the cancellation takes effect and what happens to your choir and your data afterwards.
The choir director and admins can cancel — that is, everyone who is allowed to manage the subscription. This works in the web app only.
How to cancel
In the web app, go to Subscription.
Click Manage Subscription. You'll be forwarded to Stripe's customer portal, where your subscription is administered.
In the portal, choose the cancellation option and confirm. You'll then be taken back to the app.
When the cancellation takes effect
The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then cori Pro stays fully active — so you don't lose anything in a hurry. Only afterwards does the choir switch to the "Subscription Expired" status, and the Pro features become limited again.
What happens to your data
Cancelling deletes neither the choir nor your content. Songs, sheet music, appointments, chats and the drive are all kept. You can take out a new subscription at any time and carry on where you left off.
Starting again
To unlock cori Pro again, open Subscription once more and click Renew Subscription. The process is the same as taking out a new one.
If you want to wind up the choir for good, cancelling isn't enough. A choir can only be deleted after the active subscription has been cancelled — see Deleting a choir.
