Between buying the music and the concert comes the practising
The choir orders 40 copies. Then the conductor hunts for practice tracks on YouTube, cobbles together MIDI files or spends the weekend recording every part themselves. Your edition just sits on the music stand.
Practice material is made without you
Conductors produce part recordings themselves, in varying quality and often based on photocopies. The publisher plays no role in it.
So far, digital has meant uncontrolled
When sheet music ends up as PDFs in apps and chats, you know neither who nor how many. There is no legal, convenient route, so choirs take the inconvenient one.
After the sale, contact is lost
Whether a title is actually rehearsed, what choirs are missing and which edition they need next: you hear nothing about it.

Access is only possible with a code from a purchased edition. Recordings are played back in cori, not distributed as files. You decide what is included: only the practice tracks, or the sheet music as a PDF in the viewer too. You set the scope, the term and the price.

Start small, evaluate together, then decide. The pilot costs you nothing except a handful of titles.

Select titles
Five to ten editions from your catalogue where the rights clearly sit with you. You supply recordings, backing tracks or MIDI files, we prepare everything.

Set up code and button
We deliver the redemption page, the button for your shop and the QR code for the booklet. You embed both, and that is all there is to do on your side.

Test with pilot choirs
We bring choirs that rehearse your titles. After three months we evaluate together and decide how to continue.
Practical Answers
Per title, a part recording, a backing track or a MIDI file, plus the details of the edition. From MIDI files cori generates the individual voices itself. If you only have engraved scores, talk to us and we will find a way.
You do. cori receives a licence exclusively for the agreed purpose: playback for choirs that have bought an edition and redeemed the code. If the partnership ends, so does the access.
Each code can be redeemed once per choir and is tied to a purchased edition. Recordings and sheet music are played and displayed in cori, not distributed as files. All data is stored on servers in Germany.
Nothing. We take care of preparation, the redemption page and support. A revenue model for regular operation is something we define together after the evaluation.
We leave those out of the pilot. We start with editions where the rights clearly sit with you, and look afterwards at how the catalogue can be expanded.
They still can, just as before: choirs manage their own sheet music in cori the way they do today with folders and copies. What is new is the legal, convenient route: whoever buys your edition gets the piece with official recordings straight into their repertoire instead of piecing everything together themselves.
