How billing works
cori is billed per member — who pays, what a seat costs and when the amount changes.
Web only
cori isn't billed as a flat rate but per member of your choir. So you pay for exactly as many seats as you have active singers — no more. This guide explains who pays, what a seat costs and why the amount can change over time.
The subscription covers the whole choir, and one person pays for everyone. It can be taken out and managed by the choir leadership and admins. Individual members can't take out a subscription of their own — cori works together as a choir.
Per member, not per choir
The price depends on how many members you have. The plan is called cori Pro and costs:
- annually: €1 per member per month (€12 per member per year, billed annually)
- monthly: €1.25 per member per month
The total is simply the number of members times the price per seat. With 20 members on the annual plan that's 20 × €12 = €240 per year. cori always shows you this calculation transparently on the subscription page before you commit to anything.
When the amount changes
Your choir isn't a fixed size — people join, others stop. cori adjusts the billing automatically:
New members first get a 14-day taster period and aren't charged during that time. Only afterwards do they count towards the subscription. On the annual plan, a new person is only charged pro rata for the remaining months.
Anyone who leaves the choir is no longer charged from the next billing date onwards. The price drops accordingly.
A seat that has become free can be filled by a new member at any time during the running subscription, free of charge.
In short: you only ever pay for the members who are actually active.
Monthly or annually
Paying annually saves you around 20 % compared with paying monthly. Billing then happens once a year for the whole choir instead of every month. Which period you choose is up to you — and you can switch between the two later.
Payment methods
Payments are handled securely by our payment provider Stripe. You can pay by credit card, PayPal, SEPA direct debit or — mainly for institutions — by invoice. Billing always happens collectively for the whole choir.
The subscription is taken out and managed exclusively in the web app under Subscription. In the mobile app you'll only find a pointer to the web app in this spot.
