Filtering your appointments

cori's Calendar brings every rehearsal, performance and event together in one place. Once the schedule starts to fill up, a few simple controls let you focus on exactly the dates that concern you. This guide shows how to filter on both the web app and the mobile app, how to move between upcoming and past dates, and how cori keeps the calendar focused on the events that actually apply to you.

Web and mobile look a little different

On the web, the Calendar is a month grid with filter chips above it. On the iOS and Android apps it's a scrollable agenda list with a dedicated filter panel — so the same filters live in slightly different places. Both are covered below.

Only what's relevant to you

When an appointment is aimed at a specific voice part or group, cori focuses your calendar on what you're actually expected to attend. On the web this happens automatically; on mobile it's the Show only appointments relevant to me switch, which is on by default.

On the web

Open Calendar from the sidebar. Above the month grid you'll find a row of chips — one for each kind of appointment.

1
Tap a type to focus on it

Tap Rehearsal, Performance, Event or Other to show only that kind of appointment. The selected chip fills in with colour so you can see at a glance which filters are active.

2
Combine or clear

Tap several chips to combine types — for example Rehearsals and Performances together. Tap a highlighted chip again to switch it off. With nothing selected, every type is shown.

The event-type chips above the calendar let you show only rehearsals, performances, events or other appointments.

On mobile, tap the filter icon to set date, event type, confirmation and choir filters in one panel.

Use the and arrows beside the month name to step backwards and forwards through past and upcoming months; the Today chip jumps straight back to the current month. Days with appointments carry small coloured dots, and the dot colour reflects your own attendance. Tap any day to list its appointments underneath, ready to accept or decline; tap again to collapse it.

Step through months with the arrows, or jump back with the Today chip. Dots mark days that have appointments.

On mobile

The mobile Calendar is a single agenda list, grouped by month and week, that you scroll through. All the filtering lives behind the filter icon.

1
Open the filter panel

Tap the at the top of the list. A panel slides up with every option, and any filter you've already set shows as a chip beside the icon (or No filters specified when there are none).

2
Choose a date range

Under Date, pick Future, Past or From/To. From/To opens a date picker so you can frame an exact start and end date — handy for finding events around a concert weekend.

3
Narrow by type and response

Under Event Type choose Rehearsal, Performance, Event, Other or Birthday. Under Confirmation pick Joined, Declined or Unknown to match how you've already replied. If you sing in more than one choir, a Choirs row lets you focus on just one of them.

4
Remove a filter

Each active filter is a chip beside the filter icon — tap its to clear that one without opening the panel again.

Filters keep your place

Filters apply instantly. On the web, toggling a chip never reloads the page or jumps you to the top of the month. On mobile, revealing past appointments keeps the list anchored to where you were rather than snapping back to the top — so you never lose your place while narrowing things down.
