Creating appointments and rehearsals

The calendar keeps your whole choir on the same page about when and where to meet. As a choir manager you can add rehearsals, performances and other events, set them to repeat, and let everyone know — from the web app or straight from your phone.

Who can add events?

Only choir managers can create and edit appointments. Singers see the calendar and respond to each event with their attendance. On the web the + Add Appointment button only appears for managers; on mobile it's the round button in the bottom-right corner of the calendar.

Open the calendar

On the web, choose Calendar from the sidebar. You'll see a month grid with a dot on every day that has something planned, and the events for the selected day listed underneath.

On mobile, open the Calendar tab to see your upcoming events as a list.

Create an event

The form is the same on both platforms — only how you open it differs.

1
Start a new appointment

On the web, select Calendar+ Add Appointment at the top of the page. On mobile, tap the button in the bottom-right corner. If you manage more than one choir, pick which choir the event belongs to first.

2
Give it a title and type

Type a name (for example "Tuesday rehearsal"), then pick a type — Rehearsal, Performance, Event or Other. The type sets the colour and the wording of the notification members receive.

3
Set the date and time

Choose a Start Date. Once a start is set you can add an End Date, or use the quick chips (1h, 1.5h, 2h) to fill in a duration in one tap.

4
Add a location and details (optional)

Open Location to drop a pin on the map, and Description to add notes, links or a programme. You can also attach a setlist so singers can prepare the right songs.

5
Save

Press Save. The event appears on the calendar straight away.

Make it repeat

For a weekly rehearsal or any regular date, you don't need to add each one by hand. Open the Repeat row — it reads "Does not repeat" by default — and choose how often the event recurs.

1
Choose a frequency

Pick Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly, and set the Interval — for example every 1 week, or every 2.

2
Decide when it ends

Leave it on Forever for an open-ended series, or pick Until and a date to stop on. Confirm to apply the rule.

Editing a single date in a series

On mobile, open an event from the list and tap the ; on the web, open the event to edit it. When the event is part of a series, cori asks whether your change applies to just this event or all events — so you can move one rehearsal without disturbing the rest. The same choice appears when you delete or cancel a recurring date.

Notifying members

By default every member is invited and notified when you save. To target a smaller group, open the members row and pick specific voice parts or people — only they will be notified and asked to respond. Leave Record attendance on if you want to track who's coming, and set a Default attendance if most people are expected either way.
