Creating recurring appointments
Set up weekly rehearsals as a series instead of entering every date by hand — rhythm, interval, end date, and how to change a series later.

You don't have to type in a fixed weekly rehearsal week after week. cori creates it as a series: you describe the rhythm once and cori generates all the individual appointments in the calendar from it. This guide shows how to set up a repetition, when it ends, and how to change a whole series later on.
Series are created by whoever manages the calendar: the choir director and admins. Members can see the appointments but can't create any. The form is the same on the web and in the mobile app — on the web for the choir you currently have selected, on the phone you pick the choir while creating. Setting up a repetition
The repetition is part of the normal appointment form — you set it while creating (or later while editing).
Open the form via Add Appointment, enter a name and type, and above all pick the start date with a time. The series begins at exactly this first appointment — the date and time are carried over to every repetition.
Tap the Repeat row. It's set to "Does not repeat" by default. The "Repetition" dialog opens.
Pick Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly. The "Interval" field sets how many steps lie between two appointments: 1 means every week, 2 every other week, and so on.
Under "Ends" you have two options: Forever for an open-ended series, or Until with an end date on which the last appointment falls. Tap Confirm to apply the rule.
Back in the form, the Repeat row now spells out the rule you've set. Save the appointment — cori generates the whole series.
The start date determines the weekday and the time of the entire series. If you change the start date afterwards, cori moves the repetition along with it. So set the right date first and then set up the repetition.
How the series appears in the calendar
cori stores the series as a single recurring appointment and works out the individual dates from it. In the calendar you see them as perfectly normal single appointments on their respective days — with the same attendance buttons as any other appointment.
An open-ended series (Forever) isn't drawn infinitely far ahead: cori shows the series' appointments about a year in advance and moves that window along over time. A series with a fixed end date runs to the last appointment.
Changing a whole series later
Open any appointment in the series and edit it as usual. When you save, cori asks whether the change should affect only this one or the entire series:
- Only this event pulls exactly this appointment out of the series and leaves the rest untouched. That's how you move a single rehearsal — see Changing a single appointment in a series.
- All events applies the change to the whole series, including the rhythm: switch from weekly to fortnightly here and it applies to every future appointment.
The confirmation dialog has a Reset attendance option. With it on, the affected appointments lose the acceptances and declines already recorded and everyone has to respond again. Leave it off if you're just fixing a small detail.
Ending a series
You end an open-ended series by editing it and setting a date under Until in the "Ends" section (choosing All events). Individual cancellations are no reason to end the whole series — for those, cancel the affected appointment rather than deleting it.
