Exporting appointments to your own calendar
Add your cori appointments to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook as a subscription link — created in the cori app.
App only
Would you like to see your choir dates in the same calendar as the rest of your life? cori creates a subscription link for that, which you add to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or Yahoo. After that your cori appointments appear there automatically — and stay up to date without you having to do a thing.
You create the subscription link in the cori app on your phone. Every member can do this for themselves — you don't need management rights for it. You can then add the link to any calendar app you like, on your computer too.
Creating the subscription link and adding it
In the app, open Settings›Calendar. The page is called “Export calendar”.
Tap Create link. cori generates your personal subscription link and displays it.
Tap Import to calendar and choose your provider — Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or Yahoo Calendar. cori opens that provider's subscription dialog. Alternatively, copy the link and add it by hand as a subscribed calendar in any calendar app.
What ends up in the subscribed calendar
The link bundles the appointments of all your choirs in one place. Each entry shows whether you've accepted or declined, plus the description and location if they've been filled in. Cancelled appointments aren't exported. Series appear as recurring appointments with their rhythm.
The subscribed calendar is a live connection, not a one-off copy: if you create or change an appointment in cori, the external calendar follows suit. How often it refetches is decided by your calendar app (Google, Apple, Outlook) itself — that can take anywhere from minutes to a few hours. There's nothing cori can do to influence it.
Anyone who has your subscription link can see your appointments — treat it like a password and don't share it publicly. The app currently has no button for invalidating a link once it's been created.
