Archiving songs

Take songs you no longer sing out of the “All songs” list without deleting them — and restore them any time.

Web + app

Once you're done with a song, there's no need to delete it. Archiving removes it from your everyday All songs view but keeps it fully intact — audio tracks, sheet music and annotations included. That keeps your list tidy without losing anything.

Who can archive songs

Only the choir director and admins can archive and restore songs. Members aren't even shown the action in the app.

Archive a song

1
Find the song in “All songs”

Open All songs and, if you need to, use the search field to find the piece.

2
Open the song menu
Web app
Click the three-dot menu on the right of the song row.
Mobile app
Long-press the song row or open its three-dot menu.
3
Choose “Archive”

Choose Archive. The song disappears from the normal list. It stays in any existing setlists and remains playable there.

View archived songs

As soon as at least one song is archived, a toggle for the archive appears in All songs, along with the count.

Web app
Next to the search field you'll find the “Archive” chip with a number. One click shows the archived songs instead of the active ones.
Mobile app
At the top of the list you'll find the archive icon with a small number. One tap switches to the archived songs.

Restore a song

Switch to the archive view, open the song's menu and choose Restore. It reappears in the normal list straight away — nothing has been lost.

Archive instead of delete

Archiving is always reversible. Deleting (also director/admin only), on the other hand, removes a song permanently along with its files. When in doubt: archive first.
