All your choir's songs

Where all of your choir's songs come together — find, search and open them, on web and mobile.

Web + app

Every song your choir leadership creates ends up in one central place: the All songs list. From there you open a piece to listen to it or to read the sheet music, search through the collection and, when you need to, bring archived songs back out. This guide shows where the list lives and how to find your way around it.

Where to find “All songs”

There's no separate “Songbook” page — your choir's songs live under the setlists.

Web app
Open “Setlists” in the sidebar. The “All songs” card sits right at the top.
Mobile app
On the home screen you'll find the “All songs” card under each choir.

Find and open songs

1
Open “All songs”

Tap or click the All songs card. You'll see every song in your choir as a row with a running number.

2
Search

Use the Search songs... field to find a particular piece quickly. It filters by song name.

3
Open a song

There are two ways to open a song: for listening and practising in the player, or for reading the sheet music.

Web app
Clicking the row starts the player. The sheet music icon on the right opens the sheets instead.
Mobile app
The mode switch at the top of the home screen decides what a tap does — playback or sheet music.

How playback and sheet music differ is explained in Playback mode vs. Sheets mode.

What you'll notice on a song row

  • A lock marks a song with restricted visibility. More on that in Private and public songs.
  • An archive icon marks an archived song. Archived songs are normally hidden — see below.
  • A cloud (“Not yet downloaded”) shows that the song isn't on your device yet; cori fetches it when you open it.

Show and hide archived songs

As soon as there are archived songs, an Archive chip with a count appears next to the search field. Tap it to switch between active and archived songs. Archived songs are kept, then, but stay out of your way. Details in Archiving songs.

Who adds songs

Only the choir leadership and admins may create new songs. They'll find the Add button for it (on the web) or New song (in the app). As a member you see the songs as soon as they've been added. How a song comes about is shown in Creating a song from audio and Creating a song in the audio editor.

Sort by programme

If you want to put songs in a particular order for a rehearsal or a concert, create a setlist for it rather than searching in “All songs”. See Managing setlists.
