Private and public songs
Make a song visible to the choir director and admins only — or release it to all members.

Sometimes a song needs to be prepared internally before the whole choir gets to see it. That's what setting a song to private is for: only the choir director and admins can see it. Later you release it to everyone with a single click. This guide shows how it works and who sees which songs.
Only the choir director and admins can set songs to private or public. Members aren't shown this action at all.
What private means
A private song is completely invisible to members — it isn't even delivered to them. This isn't just interface cosmetics: the server filters such songs out for everyone who isn't the choir director or an admin. So a member can't find a private song in the list, can't play it and can't open its sheet music.
Private means visible to the choir director and all admins — not only to the person who set it. Anyone with admin rights can see the song.
Setting a song to private
In All songs, open the song's menu — on the web via the three-dot menu on the row, in the app via a long press or the three-dot menu.
Choose Set private. cori confirms with "Song set to private". The song gets a padlock icon in the list — visible only to the choir director and admins.
Releasing a song again
Open the same menu and choose Set public. cori confirms with "Song set to public", and from then on every member can see it.
When you create a new song, you can make it private straight away — handy when you want to prepare sheet music and tracks in peace before the choir sees them.
