Personal and shared setlists
In cori, playlists are called setlists — and there are two kinds: personal ones just for you, and shared ones for the whole choir.

In cori you bundle songs into setlists — what other apps call a "playlist" is called a setlist in cori's interface. More important than the name is a difference you should know about: there are personal and shared setlists, and they don't behave the same way. This guide explains which one you need when. Your setlists are personal — only you can see them. Setlists listed under your choir's name are shared — every member can see them.
Personal setlists
You'll find personal setlists under the Your setlists heading. Anyone can create them — you don't need any special permissions.
- Visible only to you. Nobody else in the choir sees your personal setlists.
- Stored on the device. A personal setlist lives locally on the device where you created it. It does not travel automatically to your other devices — create it on your phone and it won't be there on your computer.
- Across choirs. You can mix songs from different choirs into one personal setlist.
Because personal setlists are only stored locally, they're lost if you delete the app or switch devices. For something that should stick around and be available everywhere, use a shared choir setlist.
Shared choir setlists
Shared setlists sit under your choir's name, right next to the All songs card.
- Visible to everyone. Every member of the choir can see them and play the songs they contain.
- Synced. They live on the server and are the same on every device — changes show up for everyone.
- Only the choir director and admins manage them. With a shared setlist, only the choir director and admins can create, rename, change songs and delete. Members can view and play them.
- Can be linked to appointments. Only a shared setlist can be attached to a calendar appointment; it then shows a date in the overview and can be opened straight from the appointment.
For your own practice order, a personal setlist does the job. For a rehearsal or concert programme that everyone should see, use a shared choir setlist (choir director/admin).
