Audio Analysis is only available in the cori app.
Audio Analysis is a mirror for your voice: you sing, and cori shows your pitch in real time on a staff. That way you can see straight away whether you're hitting a note, singing sharp or singing flat – with no exercise, no score and no target melody involved.
You open Audio Analysis in the cori app via the tools menu on the home screen. It needs access to your microphone.
How to use it
Tap Audio Analysis in the tools menu. The first time, cori asks for permission to use the microphone.
Sing or hum a note. cori detects your pitch continuously and traces it live on the staff.
Use the picture to correct your intonation – to hold a note cleanly, say, or to land an interval exactly.
What the analysis can do – and what it can't
- It shows your current pitch in real time.
- It gives you no score and no feedback against a target melody – the exercises are there for that.
- Pitch detection runs on your device.
cori stores the recording locally on your device only and resets it every time you open Audio Analysis. No permanent recording is created.
