Your choir is already on cori and you've been sent an invitation link? Then you're in after two steps. As you join, you pick your voice right away so that cori puts you in the right voice part.

What you need

An invitation link from your choir leadership or a member — usually something like cori.music/invite?inviteId=…. If you don't have one, ask for it in your choir. You'll also need a cori account; you can create one while joining.

Joining with an invitation link

The easiest way is to tap or click the invitation link directly — it opens cori and takes you straight to the join screen. If you have the link as text, you can also enter it by hand:

Open the join screen

In the choir picker, choose Join Choir.

Paste the invitation link

Paste the complete invitation link into the Invitation Link field and tap Next.

Check the choir and pick your voice

cori shows you the choir with its name and choir leadership. Under “Select your voice”, choose your voice pitch — without a voice the join button stays inactive.

Join

Confirm with Join Choir. You'll land straight in the choir afterwards.

A QR code instead of a link

If someone shows you a QR code (cori generates one for every invitation link), simply scan it with your phone's camera. The code contains the same invitation link and opens the join screen in cori. cori doesn't have a scanner of its own — your phone camera is all you need.

Access code for organizations

Some providers and associations — 6K UNITED!, for example — don't invite by link but with an access code. That's a separate route which leads to an organization rather than to a single choir. How it works is described under Joining with an access code.

If the link doesn't work

Invitation links can have an expiry date. If the link has expired or is invalid, cori says so when checking it. In that case, ask your choir leadership for a fresh link. You'll find more causes and solutions under The invitation link doesn't work.
