What works on the web, what works in the app?

The overview of which cori features exist in the browser and which in the mobile app — and what each is better suited to.

Web + app

cori comes as a web app in the browser and as a mobile app for iPhone and Android. You can do most things in both places — but a few features deliberately exist in only one. This page shows what runs where, so you know when to reach for the browser and when for your phone.

iPhone and Android are the same

The mobile app behaves identically on iOS and Android — wherever it says "app" here, both are meant. The real dividing line runs between browser and app, not between the phone systems.

The essentials up front

  • App only: sheet music annotations, the AudioEditor, metronome and piano right inside the sheet, and audio analysis. Calendar export runs only here too — as does the entire organization area for projects like 6K UNITED!.
  • Web only: everything to do with subscription and billing — starting a subscription, cancelling, switching plan, invoices — and the aggregated attendance overview with export.
  • The same everywhere: managing choirs and members, appointments, setlists, chats and surveys, Files and playing songs.

The learning path itself is the same on both platforms, and so is your progress: it's attached to your account and is synced between browser and app — just like your streaks. Rounds practised without a connection are submitted as soon as the device is back online.

FeatureWebApp

What suits whom?

Web app
Ideal for managing things on a big screen: members, appointments, setlists and everything around the subscription. Choir leadership is often quickest here.
Mobile app
Ideal for practising and for being out and about: annotating sheet music, metronome and piano, audio analysis — and the learning path, which keeps going even without a signal. The everyday companion for singers.

Many people use both: the choir leadership plans in the browser, the singers practise in the app. Because everything is synced through the same account, you have the same state everywhere.
