Opening the 6K practice room in the browser
Use the 6K practice room without installing anything, on the school PC, the whiteboard or a laptop: the address, signing in with the access code, and what only the app can do.

This article describes the browser version. The phone app can do everything mentioned here and a bit more.
Since the 2027 season, the 6K practice room exists not only in the cori app but in the browser too. That's the right route for the school PC, the whiteboard in the music room or the laptop at home, when there's no phone or tablet around. Nothing has to be installed. This article shows how to get in, what awaits you there and what you still need the app for.
App and browser show the same 6K practice room with the same songs, videos, sheet music and appointments. You don't need a second code and you don't need to register. Anyone already on board in the app simply joins again in the browser with the same access code.
The address
The shortest route: go to cori.music/6k-proberaum and click Practise in the browser. The address can be written on the board or put into the letter to parents. It leads to the 6K UNITED! x cori page, which also has the app links and all the information about the partnership.
After you've joined once, the browser remembers your account. Bookmark the page and next time you're back in the 6K practice room with a single click, with no code to enter.
Signing in
Enter the 6K access code you got from your teacher or choir director and click Next. Teachers enter their teacher key here.
Enter the name you want the others to see you under, and choose your voice: Left, Right or I don't know yet. You can change the voice later in the settings.
With Join now, the home screen of the 6K practice room opens. You don't need an email address or a password.

What you'll find in the browser
- Home screen: all the songs of the season, the warm-ups to get your voice going and your group's next appointment. At the top right you switch between home screen, calendar and settings.
- Song page: the official practice video, below it the chapter markers for warm-up, choreo, left and right, and next to it the follow-along lyrics, which highlight the line currently being sung. If there's sheet music for the song, you open it as a PDF right beside the video. The full-screen button makes the video fill the whole screen, handy at the whiteboard or projector.
- Calendar: your group's appointments, with accept and decline. Teachers create appointments here, edit them and see under each one who's coming.
- Settings: join a group or, as a teacher, create one, change your voice, leave the group, sign out.
What only the app can do
A few features are deliberately reserved for the app, because they need the microphone, the storage or the device itself:
- the sing-along with live feedback on pitch
- the streak, that is, the practice days in a row
- practising offline with downloaded cori songs
- the group's name list as a tab of its own for teachers, plus removing individual children from the group
- changing your name and securing a child's account with parental consent
For music lessons at the whiteboard and practising on the school PC, the browser is entirely enough. For practising with feedback at home, the app is worth it, free on the App Store and Google Play.
Common stumbling blocks
- No sound. Check the computer's volume and whether the browser has muted the page (the speaker symbol in the tab).
- The video won't load. The practice videos are delivered by YouTube. On school networks that block YouTube, the player stays empty; then only a different network or the app on mobile data helps.
- The code is rejected. Watch out for 0 and O, and if in doubt ask for the current season's code. More on that in Joining with the 6K access code.
- After signing out you can't get back in. An account created only with the access code exists only in that browser. After signing out, the same code creates a new, empty account. For children that usually doesn't matter; teachers secure their account with email, Google or Apple when they create their group.
On the school PC, several classes often share the same browser. Whoever signs in there with their name stays signed in until somebody signs out. For lessons at the whiteboard, one shared class account that the teacher sets up once is enough.
